CITB Apprenticeship Awards 2019 finalists announced

Seventeen CITB apprentices have been invited to Merchant Taylor’s Hall in London on 7 November to celebrate their achievements at the annual CITB Apprenticeship Awards.

This year, two new categories have been introduced. The SAP Leaner of the Year (Specialist Applied-Skills Programmes) will acknowledge the accomplishments of those working in specialised trades within the industry; and The Workplace Mentor of the Year, which will recognise those who have provided practical support and personal guidance to apprentices, enabling them to develop professionally and personally.

There are also categories for employers. These are awarded to micro, SME and large employers who have demonstrated their commitment to recruiting and training apprentices.

The winners will be presented with their awards at a ceremony hosted by broadcaster and property entrepreneur, Sarah Beeny, best known for presenting UK shows such as Property Ladder, Streets Ahead and Britain's Best Homes.
