Publication scheme

The Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) is under a legal duty to promote openness and access to information about what we do under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) 2000.

Open data

The Publication Scheme is a guide to what sort of information is routinely published. It is not a list of all the documents, but it describes the classes or type of information publicly available on this website or on request. 

It is our aim to place as much information as possible on our website, which is updated regularly.  If you cannot find what you are looking for on our website, you can search using the search function on the top right corner of the menu bar.

There is a general right of access to information held by CITB, subject to certain exclusions and exemptions. These exemptions and exclusions vary according to the nature of the information and the right of public access under FOIA. 

CITB will always provide a written explanation with reasons if it is unable to disclose information requested. 

Classes of information

  • Capital programmes/projects – listed in the annual report & accounts 
  • Senior staff remuneration
