Registering your business with CITB
CITB is required to impose a levy on employers who are wholly or mainly engaged in construction industry activities and your business is legally obliged to complete annual Levy Returns. You will be asked to provide details of your wage bill, in order for us to assess any levy liability.

How to register your business
Please read the following information before completing the Employer Registration Form
Carefully review the lists of construction and non-construction activities below. If you believe your business is an employer that is wholly or mainly engaged in construction industry activities, please complete our online Employer Registration Form.
We aim to respond to your registration enquiry within 10 working days. This may include requesting further information to assess your eligibility for registration.
Once your business is registered with CITB, you need to complete and return an annual Levy Return to CITB regardless of the amount you have paid to your employees.
