The project will develop a toolkit to attract, train and retain a suitably skilled workplace. The toolkit can be adapted and branded to meet the needs of the organisation. It will develop new frameworks and sustainable structures to enable members to effectively recruit train and retain a competent workforce now and in the future as a result developing career and progression pathways
- Develop and pilot new frameworks for apprenticeship structures,upskilling, reskilling, conversion,supervisors,junior & senior managers
- The pilot can be applied across all sectors
- A research report will be created on collaborative working within the supply chain
- Develop sector specific training guides on entry routes, into apprenticeships, upskilling and reskilling, career progression, levy and funding and CSCS cards.

End of project summary
The project finished in November 2017. In agreement with CITB the project was scaled back in recognition that CITB would take forward some of the initiatives. Build UK continue to take forward a number of initiatives included in the original proposal beyond the CITB funding.
