End of project summary
The project finished in November 2017. Funding was used to develop new training material to help reduce the energy performance gap in the house building process: four main modules were created covering:
- induction
- site and technical managers
- fabric trades
- service trades.
The project resulted in 265 people being trained across 75 organisations. The modules are widely available, along with a case study, on the National Energy Foundation website. The overall impact of the training is not yet known as the results of the final assessment of finished properties on the development has not been completed.
