The project will overcome the practical barriers to delivering work experience and increase the appeal of working within the industry by designing a week of work experience activity that any construction contractor can download and put into practise.
The activity will provide a ‘real life’ project, and a taster of a range of careers. It will link to the curriculum in a range of ways including maths, design technology, science, geography, citizenship and English.
- Design and produce construction educational resources
- Publish on Go Construct
- Deliver to 45 students using 15 industry ambassadors.
