Other useful information
There are also a few things that we need from you to make sure your time with us safe and rewarding. See Policies and procedures for students.
To help you get the most out of your training with the National Construction College, we offer support before and during your studies.
Before you arrive
To help you get ready to study with us, we’ll send you an information pack before you start. This includes more about the course, how to get here, what to bring with you and what to expect.
When you arrive
Initial induction
On your first day, you’ll have an initial induction that covers the safety information you need to know while you study with us. It also includes what to do if you are sick or need to return home for any reason or miss training.
Vocational induction
You will also have a vocational induction that covers health and safety issues related to the construction industry, in particular training in the industry. This induction takes place throughout your training. For apprenticeship courses, it takes place over two weeks.
